Before you start building a scene, you must answer the following questions for yourself:
- what is the purpose and function of my scene?
- for which audience is it meant?
- for which media is it going to be used? (like web, print etc)
- what are the dimensions of my digital scene file?
- what background does my scene need?
- which items does my scene need?
- does my scene need a mockup functionality?
